Covering the HEART of the Blackbelt which include Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Sumter and Wilcox counties.  Environmental injustices have lingered in this area for years.  We have witness  inadequate access to healthy food, inadequate transportation, air and water pollution, and unsafe homes. Our organization have partnered with environmental advocates and organizations across the nation such as EarthJustice, Samuel Lawrence Foundation, Yale University, Vermont Law School and of course the Uniontown Environmental champion group, Blackbelt Citizens.
